ASX-listed fintech provider Rubik Financial has announced the appointment of a former aggregation BDM as its new national account manager for mortgages.

Jay Ellis steps into the role from PLAN Australia, where he was most recently the strategic partnerships manager, and also worked as the aggregator’s BDM for Victoria.

Prior to that, Mr Ellis worked as the training facilitator for the Podium Broker Portal at Advantedge.

Rubik CEO Iain Dunstan said Mr Ellis’ intimate understanding of mortgage brokers’ needs and the technology to support them will be a massive benefit to the fintech provider.

“Importantly, his experience in training delivery is critical to our clients as we continue to expand the number of clients and broker networks using Rubik technology,” he said.

Rubik’s mortgage clients include ANZ, Vow Financial, RAMS, Loan Market and Astute.

Mr Ellis will be based at Rubik’s Melbourne office.
