This award recognises the top-performing aggregator BDM for the financial year 2024 in each state and is open to all full-time BDMs that meet the category requirements.
BDMs will be assessed on associated broker volumes, plus their broker servicing credentials.
Best Customer Service (Individual)
This award recognises the broker that has delivered the best customer service for the financial year 2024 and is open to all individual brokers who meet the category requirements.
This category assesses the business benefits associated with effective customer service, considering the uplift in new, repeat and referred business, as well as customer testimonials.
Best Finance Broker
This award recognises the broker who, over FY23–24, has created the strongest client offering by servicing clients’ wider financial needs outside of residential mortgages.
This category assesses non-residential loan volumes and growth, including, but not limited to commercial, business, insurance, leasing, asset and equipment finance, and personal loans.
Best Lender BDM (Bank)
This award recognises the top-performing lender BDM for the financial year 2024 in each state and is open to all BDMs who meet the category requirements. BDMs will be assessed on new broker business, plus servicing credentials.
Best Lender BDM (Non-Bank)
This award recognises the top-performing non-bank lender BDM for the financial year 2024 in each state and is open to all BDMs that meet the category requirements. BDMs will be assessed on new broker business plus servicing credentials.
Best Loan Administrator
The category, which is open to all loan administrators who meet the category requirements, will assess the volume of submissions supported, their attention to detail, knowledge of products, bank systems, and loan processes, as well as customer service capabilities.
Best Regional Broker
This award recognises the regional broker best servicing regional borrowers and who best represents the industry across key factors, including, but not limited to, loan volumes and loan book growth.
The finalist within this category must be an individual located in regional Australia that includes all the towns, small cities, and areas that lie beyond the major capital cities (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, and Canberra).
Best Residential Broker
This award recognises the top-performing residential mortgage broker for the financial year 2024 in each state and is open to all brokers who meet the category requirements. This category assesses loan settlement and loan book performance, plus year-on-year growth in loan volumes and loan book. Individual productivity and customer servicing capabilities will also be evaluated as part of this award.
Mentor of the Year
The Mentor of the Year is committed to the employee/broker’s professional development and cultural integration, demonstrating leadership and advocating for the future leaders in the broking industry. They show success in their current business/role and demonstrate the influence they have made on the broking profession.
New Broker of the Year
This category assesses loan settlement and loan book performance. Conversion rates, submission quality, and customer servicing capabilities will also be evaluated as part of this award.
Industry Thought Leader of the Year
This award recognises the individual within the Australian broking market who has shown long-term passion and aptitude for improving and leading the industry and who will play an integral role in the development of mortgage broking in the years ahead.
This individual will highlight unique thought leadership, show success in their current business/role, and reveal how they have already made a difference in the broking profession.
Wellness Advocate of the Year
This award recognises the member of the broking industry who has actively advocated for health and wellness initiatives, events and/or activities in the industry, among their peers and/or the community at large.
Best Boutique Non-Franchise Office
This award recognises the most successful office with five brokers or less in each state for financial year 2024, and is open to all residential mortgage brokerages/offices that meet category requirements.
This category assesses loan settlement and loan book performance of the office.
Best Community Engagement Program
This award recognises the brokerage with a unique community engagement program that has gone above and beyond the usual ways of connecting with and benefitting the community. This category assesses the uniqueness of the program, the outcomes from the program and how the program has helped the broker/brokerage secure more business.

Best Customer Service (Office)

This award recognises the most successful finance brokerage office in each state for the financial year 2024 and is open to all finance brokerages/offices that specialise in loans outside of residential mortgages.
This category assesses loan settlement and loan book performance of the entire office excluding residential mortgages, i.e., business loans, personal loans, asset finance, etc. Collective conversion rates, submission quality and customer servicing capabilities will also be evaluated as part of this award.
Best Franchise Office
This award recognises the most successful franchise office in each state for the financial year 2024 and is open to all residential mortgage brokerages/offices that meet category requirements.
This category assesses loan settlement and loan book performance of the entire office. Collective conversion rates, submission quality and customer servicing capabilities will also be evaluated as part of this award.
Best New Office
This award recognises the most successful new office in each state for financial year 2024, and is open to all residential mortgage brokerages/offices that meet category requirements. This category assesses loan settlement and loan book performance of both the office.
An office is classified as singular dedicated premises that services the needs of consumers, with brokers operating under a shared brand.
Best Regional Office
This award recognises the regional broking office best servicing regional borrowers. This category assesses loan settlement numbers and volume growth, as well as the loan book performance of the office. This category is open to all residential mortgage brokerages/offices that meet category requirements.
