Mortgage Choice hosts High Performance Summit

In October, Mortgage Choice held its annual High Performance Summit in Byron Bay, celebrating the top performers in the Mortgage Choice network across a range of metrics, including those who made exceptional contributions to the network’s culture during the financial year 2024.

This year’s agenda featured an incredible line-up of speakers including high-performance coach Mark ‘Dobbo’ Dobson and one of his longstanding clients, ex-Olympian and now CEO, Grant Hackett. Attendees also heard from Emma Murray about high-performance mindfulness and Rachael Robertson about leading in high-pressure environments – taken from her time leading an expedition to Antarctica.

Brokers in the Mortgage Choice network also shared what they’re doing to raise the bar in their businesses and the creative ways they are connecting with clients and generating new business.

Entourage uses pickleball to return serve on men’s health issues

Finance brokerage and property advisory business Entourage hosted a Pickleball Competition for clients and business partners on 15 November as a means of networking while raising money for mental health charity, The Man Cave.

As well as playing pickleball at the National Pickleball League in South Melbourne, the event heard from former AFL star and Collingwood coach, Nathan Buckley, who delivered a keynote address at the competition.

The event raised over $5,000 in donations for The Man Cave, a charity that runs preventative mental health and emotional wellbeing programs.

Entourage managing director Damien Roylance said: “No one is immune from the challenges of external pressures and mental ill-health, days like this showcase what a great community we have and the ways in which we can use different mechanisms to support one another.”
