Adam Croucher joins non-bank lender

Adam Croucher, the former Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) general manager for third-party lending, has joined non-bank lender Pepper Money as its new state manager for Victoria.

Croucher began his role with Pepper Money on 15 April and has been a longer-serving member of the mortgage and lending community, having worked in banking for 24 years. He spent almost 19 years with CBA prior to his departure in 2023.

Pepper Money suggested that his extensive experience equipped him with valuable insights.

Barry Saoud, Pepper Money’s general manager, mortgage and commercial lending, said Croucher’s leadership style is “hands-on, empathetic and results-driven”.

On his appointment, Croucher commented: “It is a privilege to join the highly respected Pepper Money team and I’m thrilled to be reconnecting with brokers to help them thrive and succeed.”

He added that he was “drawn to Pepper Money” because of its mission, strong broker value proposition, and “commitment to innovation and customer-centric solutions”.

Connective announces new sales exec

Aggregator Connective announced the appointment of Tracey Crevatin as its new sales executive for Victoria and Tasmania.

Connective sought to leverage Crevatin’s experience and industry connections in order to drive growth and “foster meaningful broker relationships”.

Crevatin’s role with Connective has her focusing on recruiting mortgage brokers and improving the company’s strategic value through tailored support and engagement.

According to Connective, her approach to sales and client relations is characterised by her “straightforward, persuasive, yet compassionate manner, ensuring that brokers’ needs are met with expertise and genuine care”.

Head of member acquisition at Connective, Iain Hemmings, commented: “Tracey’s addition to the team signifies Connective’s ongoing commitment to excellence and industry leadership.”

On her appointment, Crevatin said: “Joining Connective feels like coming home to a team that truly values excellence and collaboration and aligns with my professional values.

“I am eager to contribute to our collective success and to support brokers in achieving their aspirations.”

New state manager for NSW/Qld MA Money

MA Money welcomed Tim Lemon as the new state manager for NSW and Queensland.

Lemon worked as a business development manager (BDM) for 20 years, having served as a senior BDM for a range of lenders, including ORDE Financial, Bluestone, Resimac, and Pepper.

The state manager – who has been jointly leading the national sales team alongside Melanie de Jager (state manager for Western Australia and South Australia) since October 2023 – has appointed three BDMs to its NSW team since January 2023, including Harry Stewart, Sarin Yedelian, and Kelly Lam. Lemon commented: “MA Money has invested in building our national sales team to service increased demand from brokers.”

He added he first joined MA Money because he “could see the potential in the business”.

“[Its] commitment and passion for providing outstanding service, while offering flexible solutions for customers was important to me,” Lemon said.

Former Prospa CCO joins SME lender

Small-business lender TruePillars appointed Ben Lamb to its senior leadership team, following his appointment to the role of chief commercial officer (CCO) in February 2024.

Lamb most recently served as the CCO at non-bank lender Prospa.

He also worked as the general manager of product and procurement at vehicle leasing company FleetPartners and the head of online and direct channels in consumer finance at financial services provider FlexiGroup (humm).

John Baini, chief executive and co-founder of TruePillars, commented: “We are thrilled to welcome Ben to the TruePillars team.”

Lamb said: “With a passion for building businesses, I spent 7.5 years at Prospa contributing significantly to their success so I’m thrilled to bring this experience to TruePillars.

“I was drawn to this role because of the market potential and the founder’s commitment to supporting commercial brokers with their astute approach in aligning products with risk and distribution.
