Aussie Home Loans partnered with a food rescue charity this week to provide meals for the needy in the Perth community.
The franchise group’s Western Australian staff participated in Cooking for a Cause, a nationwide initiative by OzHarvest that provides food for those in need.

A total of 305 meals were prepared at Ellenbrook Community Centre, which were then delivered to homeless service providers 55 Central and Foundation Housing, as well as a women’s refuge established by The Salvation Army.
Jennifer Keen, OzHarvest’s manager for WA, said Aussie demonstrated great passion, team effort and “a lot of love” to create delicious meals under the supervision of the charity’s expert chefs.
“The Aussie team got to learn a lot from them while having their share of fun through various stages of a competition between them,” she said.
Aussie CEO James Symond said: “We are proud of our WA team members playing an important part of this worthwhile local event to support the important work of OzHarvest in the Perth community.”
