The industry’s best young brokers are set to battle it out for a coveted position in The Adviser’s fifth annual Young Broker of the Year ranking, with submissions open now.
The Young Broker of the Year 2016 is set to identify the industry’s most productive and successful young brokers aged 30 and below.

Western Australia-based broker James Chatfield of Chatfield Consulting was crowned last year’s winner after a successful 2015 financial year that also saw him achieve 9th place in The Adviser’s Elite Business Writers list — a ranking of the top 50 mortgage brokers in Australia.
According to The Adviser editor James Mitchell, the Young Broker of the Year rankings offer significant marketing value to those brokers who make the list.
“There are some young brokers out there who are streets ahead of their peers and we want to recognise their achievement and highlight the business attitudes and practices that define them,” he said.
As in years past, this year’s rankings will uncover the final 30 based on a broker's residential volumes, actual home loans written and 'other volumes' such as commercial, vehicle and equipment finance, and insurance.
