Brokers outsource 'low paying activities'

Brokers nationwide are outsourcing back-office operations in an attempt to improve efficiency.

Matt Ivers from Vision Aggregation, who offers outsourcing services to brokers, says there has been more demand than ever from brokers looking to free up time so they can generate more business and concentrate on growing their loan books.

“Brokers can meet with the client and enter their details into the CRM system. From there, we can pretty much take care of the rest,” he said. “By taking care of the loan processing, we free brokers up to communicate with new clients and engage with old ones.

“We help them focus on high paying activities which makes good business sense.”

Brian Cleverdon of Centennial Group has also seen an increase in demand for outsourcing and has a fully-qualified loan processing team ready to help brokers.

“We are in a position to offer busy brokers, who are looking to spend maximum time in front of clients, a service whereby we will manage the applications in conjunction with the broker right up to settlement,” Mr Cleverdon said.

Specialist loan processors are able to handle the job more efficiently, he added.

“We are in contact with lenders throughout the day and we believe that we can actually offer a more effective and efficient service in getting loans approved and settled,” he said.
