Third-party player James Green has sold his stake in a Sydney-based brokerage and resigned as a director to pursue new opportunities.

Multi-award-winning brokerage Shore Financial has announced that Mr Green, who was previously the CEO and a director of Century 21 Home Loans and GM of Oxygen Home Loans, resigned as a director on 27 April to focus on a new opportunity in the mortgage industry.

“James and his wife, Kristen Green, have also officially sold their interest in Shore Financial,” the group said.

“Shore Financial wishes to recognise and thank James Green for his contribution as one of the founding members, along with Alex Nochar and Theo Chambers.

“As a consultant to the business, James was instrumental in the early days of the establishment of Shore Financial and, together with the other founders, grew a significant mortgage business.”

Launched in 2013, the brokerage has a $2.5 billion loan book and over 50 employees.

In January 2017, Mr Green resigned as CEO of Century 21 Home Loans and sold his 20 per cent stake in the brokerage.
