Marketplace Finance recruits relationship manager

by Adrian Suljanovic3 minute read

The brokerage has announced the appointment of Kim Le Sech, expanding its relationship management team and upholding its commitment to partners.

The full-service commercial finance platform has hired Ms Le Sech to uphold its commitments to its partners, helping them reach out into commercial lending and creating more opportunities for their businesses, according to Marketplace Finance’s head of third party relationships Dino Pacella.

Ms Le Sech will commence with her new role as relationship manager QLD/WA on Monday 16 January 2023.

Mr Pacella commented on Ms Le Sech’s appointment: “The expansion of our Relationship Management team is evident of our commitment to our partners.”

“Kim brings with her a wealth of knowledge across the broking landscape along with her proactive and professional approach.

“Through my own experience of working closely with brokers in both QLD and WA, I know our partners across both these states will greatly appreciate, and benefit from the close support that Kim will offer,” Mr Pacella said.

When asked why she decided to join Marketplace Finance, Ms Le Sech stated there had been a lot of focus in the industry on diversification and wanted to join the team to work one on one with brokers and referral partners to give their clients a full suite of options across the commercial lending space.

“I thought the platform was a very innovative and supportive solution to assist in the diversification process.

“I am passionate about the growth of the broker channel and really enjoy being our brokers [sic] No 1 supporter and being fully available to assist them in all aspects of their commercial lending needs. I love building solid working relationships and watching their business grow and succeed in the process,” Ms Le Sech concluded.

Marketplace Finance and My Local Broker enter alliance

Marketplace Finance and My Local Broker (MLB) entered a partnership on 17 November 2022 to further bolster MLB broker commercial loans.

The collective broking, lender referral and loan product selection expertise of the two companies has now been combined as a result of this union.

Sub-aggregator MLB sees Marketplace Finance offer its commercial referral services to MLB brokers, helping them with their diversification into commercial lending, Marketplace Finance explained at the time.

Speaking exclusively to The Adviser about the new partnership, Marketplace Finance head of third-party relationships and National Finance Brokers Day founder, Dino Pacella, said: “With only 30 per cent of mortgage brokers writing commercial loans, we at Marketplace Finance see this as a huge opportunity for us to continue partnering with quality businesses to help them expand their client base, increase revenue, and protect their existing clients through commercial lending.

“It’s why I’m excited for us to announce our latest partnership with the professional and forward-thinking team at My Local Broker.”
