Homeloans is currently ramping up its presence in the Queensland market.

The non-bank lender is looking to engage quality brokers that understand Homeloans’ core values.

General manager of retail sales Greg Mitchell told The Adviser that Homeloans was looking to partner with like-minded broker businesses who see the value in what the company has to offer.

But more than increasing its stance in the broker space, Mr Mitchell said the lender is also aiming to build a strong retail presence.

As such, Homeloans has engaged football legend Shane Webcke and his business partner, Bob Hudson, to help drive the company’s message through to the Queensland retail market.

“Not only is Shane really well known and respected in Queensland and indeed across Australia as one of the few football greats, but he is also dedicated to this cause. He is an avid supporter of Homeloans and wants to use his profile to help us get our brand out there in the public domain,” Mr Mitchell said.

According to Mr Mitchell, the company will target one regional Queensland area at a time, to ensure the region receives maximum support.

As such, Homeloans has just launched a new television advertising campaign in Toowoomba, which stars Mr Webcke.

“We have already had a significant response to the advertisement, which is very pleasing,” Mr Mitchell said.

“I hope we enjoy the same success across the rest of the state.”
