Pepper marks 10 years of asset finance
Pepper Money celebrated its 10th anniversary at an event at the Sydney Opera House on 22 October, where it reflected on its growth over the past decade and how brokers and car dealers had helped contribute to its success.
Speaking to the brokers, car dealers, introducers, funders, aggregators, and partners at the event, Ken Spellacy, the general manager of asset finance at Pepper Money, said its strategic partnerships and relationships had been “the cornerstone” of Pepper Money’s success in asset finance.
Pepper Money CEO Mario Rehayem echoed Spellacy’s sentiments: “I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to everyone that has been a part of our Pepper Money Asset Finance business, including our team, valued partners, brokers, introducers, funders, and shareholders, for contributing to our remarkable success story.”
Connective hosts National Conference
Aggregation group Connective held its the National Conference in Melbourne on 9–10 October, bringing together nearly 800 members, lenders, and partners at the Convention Centre.
Over the two days, Connective brokers heard from a range of speakers, including customer service keynote speaker Jaquie Scammell; Four Pillars founder Matt Jones; CoreLogic research specialist Tim Lawless; sales growth and mindset coach, Dean Mannix; and Olympic athlete Cate Campbell.
Industry speakers also included Connective brokers Elouise Dooley and Alissa Childs from Two Birds One Loan; broker mentor and coach, Jason Back, from Broker Essentials; and a panel discussion from Connective’s executive director Mark Haron; MFAA CEO Anja Pannek; and senior leaders from ANZ (Natalie Smith); Bankwest (Ian Rakhit); CBA (Baber Zaka); and Macquarie (Wendy Brown).
In the evenings, brokers connected and networked at THE LUME in Melbourne among original drawings by Leonardo Da Vinci and enjoyed cocktails at the AFLOAT bar.
