MFAA National Excellence Awards
In July, 137 finalists from across Australia were narrowed down to winners in 26 categories at the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia’s (MFAA) National Excellence Awards.
More than 550 MFAA members and industry partners attended the event at Melbourne’s Crown Palladium, representing the culmination of five MFAA State Excellence Awards.
The awards were also an opportunity to recognise the industry contributions of veteran broker Tony Schelling, who was inducted as a life member of the association.
MFAA CEO Anja Pannek said the awards highlight the talent and dedication in the industry.
“Our winners exemplify the best practices and standards in industry – that continues to drive our profession forward,” Pannek said.
Loan Market’s Scale-Up Conference
Loan Market’s annual Scale-Up Conference took place in Adelaide, with the launch of new efficiency tools and events to mark the Loan Market’s 30th anniversary.
Over two days, some of the brokerage’s top-performing business owners, brokers, and support staff joined LMG executive chairman Sam White and speakers such as Grant Hackett OAM.
During the conference, LMG unveiled three new additions to its MyCRM platform to help brokers save time: Deal Board, My Activities and Improved Workflows.
Jason Furnell, LMG group executive – customer experience, told The Adviser the tools were developed based on direct feedback.
“Deal Board and the surrounding tools are the most anticipated productivity enhancement within MyCRM we’ve ever delivered, and it has all been driven by our businesses,” Furnell said.
