FAST's Brendan Wright claims broker numbers are soaring since the brand revamped its offering.
Mr Wright has overseen the shift in FAST’s focus over the past 13 months, which he believes has culminated in a jump in broker numbers.

“Not only have our brokers noticed the change over the past year, we have also attracted brokers who are already successful in the industry to join FAST and make us their aggregator.
“Over the last 12 months, 180 new loan writers joined the FAST team, taking total numbers upwards of 1,200,” he told The Adviser.
Mr Wright said the strong year came at an unusual time, as brokers are exposed to a transitional phase in the market.
“The key to broker success is to be in tune with the market, which never stops changing,” he said.
“We want to continue focusing on brokers' growth through ambiguous times and help them adapt.
“We have a performance-based fee structure, so we customise the fee structure to tailor it to whatever their strategy might be.”
Mr Wright said that an expanded lender panel and additional support has helped many FAST brokers diversify into other areas such as commercial and asset finance.
“Brokers are looking for someone to support them during these changing times, and we’re trying to adapt to be the support they need,” he said.
