State manager for NSW at AFG, organiser of the day and captain of fourth (and last) placed Allianz/AFG Stephen Doyle said the day was a huge success.
"Firstly, a huge congrats to the team from AFG and to Citi for making the finals.
"The day was pulled together in the name of charity, and while we haven't got a final figure just yet, we're expecting to raise between $7,000 and $10,000.
"Just from the players today, around $4,500 was raised in individual donations alone. So a big thank-you to all participants."
Mr Doyle said he is keen to have the round robin tournament become an annual event, despite the numerous injuries.
"It would be great to have this day every year, but it all depends on whether we can secure Allianz Stadium. The venue was terrific and really made the day.
"All the brokers who were involved said it was the best sporting charity event they've ever attended, so we're all very happy."
