Capitalising on a hot property market, Connective’s broker members recorded their largest ever settlement quarter in the three months to December 2013, settling almost $6.4 billion in loans.

The new quarterly record came as Connective brokers achieved three consecutive record settlement months and is 40 per cent higher than the same quarter in the previous year.

Connective Group principal Glenn Lees said Connective members have proven responsive and agile in a highly competitive market.

“The massive volume of loans settled by our members in October, November and December is a clear indicator of the professionalism of our member network, and a strong endorsement that the tools we provide assist them to effectively capitalise on a strong spring selling season,” Mr Lees said.

Mr Lees also acknowledged Connective’s lender partners for their role in the achievement of the record results.

“Not only are our members performing really well, but we’re also seeing great support coming from our lender partners to assist them in achieving more of these settlement records,” he said..

“Settlement growth has been driven by both the increasing number of brokerages choosing to join Connective but also the increasing productivity and effectiveness of our membership.”
