Connective has appointed former ANZ, St George Bank and Suncorp Bank executive Steve Heavey to a key strategic role.
The aggregator announced today that Mr Heavey has taken on the newly-created position of general manager of strategy, distribution and digital.

This role is focused on the development of Connective's product and service portfolio.
Mr Heavey's extensive third-party experience includes establishing the ANZ Mobile Lending franchise system and serving as general manager of intermediaries at both St George and Suncorp.
Connective chief executive Glenn Lees said Mr Heavey has the ideal skill-set to help the aggregator enhance and expand its broker network.
"His depth and breadth of knowledge, acquired through 25 years' experience in sales, marketing, strategy and business development in the financial services sector, will be a great addition to Connective," Mr Lees said.
"In the coming year we will be significantly enhancing the range of innovative solutions we offer to our members to assist them in overcoming the challenges they face. Steve's expertise and drive will be instrumental in this program."
Mr Heavey said he is looking forward to helping the group continue expanding.
"Connective is progressive. I have always observed their innovative approach, and I feel fortunate to join such a dynamic group," Mr Heavey said.
Connective has more than 2,300 brokers and a loan book of more than $65 billion, the group said.
