PLAN Australia has today launched a new digital summit in a bid to evolve and innovate the way it delivers services to brokers.

The inaugural Commercial & Asset Finance Digital Summit will feature a series of 12 live stream webinars today and tomorrow, and has so far attracted significant interest from PLAN's 1,400 broker members.

The summit will be available exclusively to PLAN Australia brokers in an online hub where they will have access to over 20 leading experts.

“We’ve got an impressive panel of industry experts lined up to present live to our brokers, including the CEOs of both the MFAA and CAFBA,” PLAN Australia chief executive Phil Quin-Conroy said.

“Our lender partners have also been very supportive of the initiative, and we’ll have representatives from many lenders participating in the sessions as well.”

Mr Quin-Conroy said digital training initiatives like the summit offer brokers a chance to ‘top up’ in areas of interest without spending time and resources on travel or having to take a full day out of the office.

“We are seeing record attendance at our PD days, and with strong interest in our new Digital Summit, it is clear there is a real hunger amongst brokers for business insights and professional development opportunities that they can leverage to grow their businesses,” he said.

Mr Quin-Conroy added that he was thrilled that the aggregator’s first ever digital summit has been met with such an enthusiastic response from brokers.

“PLAN Australia is committed to supporting our brokers to grow through premium aggregation services and market-leading education and training opportunities, and this is just another example of our commitment to innovation for the benefit of our brokers,” Mr Quin-Conroy said.

The Adviser has also launched its own one-day, interactive boot camp, partnered by Westpac, for brokers who want to innovate the way they do business online.

The boot camp will take place in Brisbane on 1 July, Melbourne on 2 July and Sydney on 3 July.

Attendees who are FBAA members will be entitled to eight CPD points, while MFAA members will receive six CPD points.
