Aussie ‘colours’ homes this Australia Day

This year, Aussie Home Loans’ The Colours of Home campaign will extend beyond a competition.

The branded broker group launched its annual Australia Day campaign this month, aimed at celebrating the diverse colour palette of Australia’s landscape.

The campaign invites current and prospective Aussie customers to select their preferred interior style from six colour palettes based on some of Australia’s landscapes, and then enter the draw to win a home styling package by Katrina Chambers, an interior designer and contestant on The Block.

This year the campaign will do more than celebrate Australia’s landscape. The group said in a statement that it will also help to raise money for Australian families who have lost their home to bushfires.

The group will partner for the first time with Habitat for Humanity Australia, matching every donation dollar for dollar to reach $50,000 goal.

“Habitat for Humanity Australia shares our belief that every Australian should have a home to call their own, so inviting our customers to show their true colours by helping those who have lost their homes to bushfires will allow us to help up to 70 families,” Aussie’s head of customer engagement Deborah Kytic said.

To enter the competition, or to find out more about how to donate, Aussie is directing visitors to The Colours of Home website. Competition entries close 11.59pm AEDT on 6 February and the winners will be drawn at 11am on 8 February.
