Aussie CEO James Symond said the group was delighted to win the “very important” award.
“More than half of all home loans in Australia are now being facilitated through a mortgage broker, so today being a mortgage broker alone is not enough,” Mr Symond said.
“In my opinion, it’s the perception of the brand and your service proposition that sets brokers apart and that’s why this award is so important for us.”
With 180 stores and 1,050 brokers across the country, Mr Symond said Aussie has never been in a better position to help consumers find the right home loan.
“We’re receiving record numbers of customers knocking on our door who are looking for expert help in navigating this increasingly complex and confusing home loan marketplace,” he said.
“There’s a wide range of home loans and mortgage brokers out there today, so it’s important consumers find the right partner who is on their side and who will help them achieve their financial and property ownership goals.”
Other winners of the Quality Service Awards were ANZ (Gold Winner) and NAB (Silver Winner) in the Home Loan category.
