Yellow Brick Road has today announced the appointment of a new general manager of lending for its branded branch network.

Andrew Rasby will be responsible for the productivity and lending support provided to the network of 160-plus franchises that make up the Yellow Brick Road distribution network across Australia.

Yellow Brick Road’s executive chairman Mark Bouris says the dedicated role supports the company’s FY17 focus on enhancing the productivity and profitability of the young network.

“We’ve spent five years building a strong, broad distribution network of dedicated local wealth managers. Now that our footprint is established and growing, we are determined to provide our network with the expertise and mentorship to help them reach their potential,” Mr Bouris said.

“Andrew comes to us from Aussie Home Loans where he was the state manager for NSW and has a long history in financial services including heading up strategy and operations for rural and regional banking and private banking at Bankwest.

Mr Rasby, who has 28 years of financial services and banking experience, is responsible for ensuring Yellow Brick Road branches are supported with lending guidance, training and mentoring to increase conversions and support network growth.

Mr Rasby also has a background in wealth management as a former executive manager in Colonial First State’s wealth management division and also running Bankwests financial advice business.

“It’s exciting to be joining Yellow Brick Road as they emerge from their establishment phase into a productivity focus. The network size and loan book volume is a great foundation for increasing their consumer traction and productivity,” Mr Rasby said.

He commences his new role at YBR today.
