AFG has announced it will provide two dealer groups with its mortgage aggregation services as part of a new partnership.

BT-owned dealer groups Securitor and Magnitude hired AFG after deciding to ramp up their mortgage lending business.

AFG will provide the two groups with a panel of lenders, compliance and marketing support and a national business development team.

AFG’s general manager sales and operations Mark Hewitt told The Adviser that the aggregator was pleased to be partnered with a brand like BT.

“Securitor and Magnitude went to the market looking to hire an aggregator that could help their adviser write mortgage business, and we were lucky enough to win their work,” Mr Hewitt said.

“We are happy to partner with the BT-owned groups, not only does it mean we will be able to write more business, but it also means we will have more members.”

This latest partnership comes just seven months after AFG announced it would provide mortgage aggregation services to AMP’s financial planners and accredited mortgage consultants.
