Mortgage Choice brokers in new TV adverts

Five Mortgage Choice brokers are featuring in a new TV commercial running across Australia from this week.

On Sunday (28 August), new adverts featuring real-life brokers began running on national television as part of Mortgage Choice’s brand awareness campaign, You’re Never a Loan campaign.

The TV commercials – which were delivered and produced with support from Brand+Story – are airing on channels 9 and 10 and will include prime-time slots such during popular programs The Block and The Masked Singer.

In the adverts, viewers are shown a range of customer stories and how brokers are helping them. It includes examples of a family seeking to refinance to manage higher interest rates, an expecting couple looking to buy their first home, a parent looking for more space for their family, a young professional hunting for a place close to the city, and a family in search of a tree change.

It draws on the broker-customer relationship and states: “From applying to buying and beyond, your local Mortgage Choice broker will be there with you every step of the way, and they’ll never treat you like you’re just another loan.”

The brokers that feature in the TV adverts are:

  • Kathryn Andrich (Mortgage Choice Stanmore and surrounds)

  • Luke Camilleri (Mortgage Choice Parramatta)

  • Jen Hughes (Mortgage Choice Merimbula)

  • Jensen Lee (Mortgage Choice Northern Beaches)

  • Chantelle Rangel (Mortgage Choice Marrickville)

The TV commercials will be complemented by creatives across Broadcast Video on Demand (BVOD), audio, digital display, online video and social.

An outdoor campaign was also launched in several major capital cities last weekend with 120 placements nationally.

Speaking of the adverts, Mortgage Choice CEO Anthony Waldron said: “At a time when borrowers are managing rising interest rates and cost-of-living increases, this campaign shows mortgage brokers are there to support Australians and make their property dreams possible – whether that’s getting the best deal on their home loan or ensuring repayments are manageable.”

The campaign marks the first time the brand has featured on TV adverts since Mortgage Choice was acquired by REA Group last year.

REA Group’s general manager, audience and marketing, Sarah Myers, commented: “Mortgage Choice has been a nationally recognised and trusted brand among Australians for over 30 years.

“With the backing of REA Group, this new campaign will help take the brand to an even broader national audience.

“Mortgage Choice brokers play a critical role in helping Australians finance their property dreams and we are proud to feature our very own brokers in this campaign.”
