AFG has welcomed a new sales manager and partnership manager to its head office in Perth.
Aggregation company Australian Finance Group (AFG) has welcomed two new members to its team.

The Loan Company’s sales manager, Andy Drake, has joined AFG as Western Australian sales manager.
Mr Drake has 15 years of financial services experience, including at several finance brokerages (including iconic home loans, where he was a finance broker himself), and most recently as sales manager at The Loan Company.
In his new position, he will help drive recruitment for the ASX-listed aggregator.
AFG’s head of strategic partners and recruitment, Them Lam, commented: “Andy’s proven skills and experience will provide us with the right platform to work with brokerages across WA to better understand their pain points and ascertain how a partnership with AFG can assist their next phase of growth.”
Joining Mr Drake in the Western Australian head office is Lisa Lam, previously an assistant relationship manager at Bankwest Commercial Banking, who has taken on the position as partnership manager.
She has more than nine years’ financial services experience, including as a Perth-based state support manager and deputy area manager for Bank of Queensland (BOQ).
AFG’s head of broker partnerships, Jia Jia Wong, said as the number of AFG brokers increased, it was important to support that growth through high-calibre team members who could fully support brokers in all aspects of their business.
“Lisa has the right experience and is passionate about helping support our members with their future successes,” she said.
The new Western Australian appointments are part of a further strengthening of the service offered to new and existing members and follow key appointments on the eastern seaboard.
Earlier this month, AFG announced George Haddad and Krishneil Prasad had joined the company as partnership managers in NSW.
AFG also promoted Danni Porter to sales manager for Northern Territory and Queensland. Mr Porter joined AFG in 2017 as business relationship manager in the AFG Home Loans team, following eight years at Suncorp.
