Angle Finance joins Finsure lending panel

by Adrian Suljanovic9 minute read

The asset finance lender has become the lender to join the mortgage aggregator’s lending panel.

Angle Finance, the asset finance company specialising in commercial equipment finance for small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), has joined the lender panel of aggregation group Finsure.

According to Finsure Group chief executive Simon Bednar, Angle Finance will help the aggregator’s broker network expand and tap into the SME asset finance space and develop a strong value proposition for their SME clients.

Commenting on the non-bank lender joining Finsure’s lending panel, Mr Bednar said: “The diversification of our lending panel has been evident over the last three years, and we are creating the most comprehensive offering in the aggregation space.

“Angle Finance specialise in commercial equipment finance, including primary, secondary, and tertiary assets. They are renowned for providing brokers with faster and easier finance and offer a low doc product 250K Faster.”

Finsure’s head of diversified and asset finance Damien Thompson said Angle Finance is vital for the growing group of asset-finance brokers as well as any traditional brokers seeking out opportunities to enhance their service offering.

“Angle Finance’s broker portal is simple and user-friendly. An application can be submitted in less than two minutes with rapid approvals. Their process ensures brokers can deliver faster settlements for clients and they prepare the contracts and send via DocuSign,” Mr Thompson stated.

Angle Finance chief commercial officer Craig Bowring said there has been a significant rise in mortgage brokers diversifying into the asset finance space and accrediting with the non-bank lender over the last 12 months.

Mariya De Groot, Angle Finance’s national sales manager, stated mortgage brokers are partnering with the non-bank lender due to its product and portal making the process easy for mortgage brokers to introduce new products to their customers.

“We are excited to join the Finsure panel and work closely with their brokers,” Ms De Groot said.

CitoPlus partnership

Angle Finance joining Finsure’s lending panel followed the recent launch of a partnership between Finsure and digital commercial broking platform, CitoPlus, which provides brokers and SME customers with streamlined experiences via automating data collection, accurate collateral details, serviceability calculations, and financial analysis.

Mr Bednar commented at the time that the partnership was “a win” for brokers and SME customers because it would remove “key pain points” during the SME loan process while quickening the application process.

“CitoPlus has built a market-leading commercial broking platform that brings together the best of digital and data capabilities with the experience and judgment of commercial brokers,” he said.
