Just days after acquiring online mortgage comparison website helpmechoose.com.au, Mortgage Choice has announced it will launch its own suite of home loan products next month.

Speaking to The Adviser Mortgage Choice chief executive officer Michael Russell said the company had been very busy over the past few months reinvigorating its traditional business model.

“Since the start of the calendar year we have launched an aggregation business, acquired a lead generation business and now we are busy organising our own Mortgage Choice labelled products – which will be officially available from next month,” Mr Russell said.

Mr Russell first declared the company’s interest in distributing its own range of products back in September.

“At the end of last financial year, some of our lender’s turnaround times had blown out to four weeks. By having our own suite of products, we will be able to guarantee our clients fast, reliable service,” he said at the time.

Mortgage Choice’s move into home loan products follows in the footsteps of brokers such as Aussie and Loan Market – which currently distribute their own products as well as sell those from other lenders.
