Roberts – who has worked at Connective for the past six years – has over 20 years of senior marketing experience at major brands like REA Group, Mattel, and Hallmark.
To date, she has helped deliver the aggregator’s marketing tools, including spearheading the development of Connective’s Digital Marketing Hub (which provides automated broker marketing campaigns and has reportedly helped brokers settle higher volumes), expanded the My Website (website building and hosting service), and Connective Property Tools (which gives brokers the latest property data and insights), as well as developing hybrid sponsorship and educational programs.
In her new role as CMO, Roberts will continue to lead the in-house team of over 20 marketing, communications, creative, and product professionals while driving new growth strategies for brokers and cementing lender partnerships.
Her focus in the new role of CMO – which she commenced in June 2024 – aims to “ensure brokers have access to the best resources for sustained growth”.
Speaking of the promotion, Connective CEO Glenn Lees said: “Andrea’s promotion marks a new chapter in Connective’s growth.
“Her leadership will open new opportunities for our brokers and lender partners, ensuring Connective continues to deliver exceptional value that caters to everyone’s needs and goals in a rapidly changing market.”
The aggregator has been making several new senior appointments this year, having announced in July that it had hired its first chief technology officer (CTO), Chin Hui Yeo, and having welcomed a new chief information officer (CIO) in the form of Ashley Jackson.
It also welcomed its inaugural national manager for its asset finance arm and a new strategic partnerships manager earlier this year. Lee Postlethwaite joined the group as the first national manager of the aggregator’s asset finance arm – Connective Asset Finance – while Belinda Devlin was named Connective’s strategic partnerships manager to more accurately reflect her responsibilities.
