Chronopoulos, who joined YBR in October 2023, has been building the corporate branch of YBR since its de-listing and transformation journey and will now be responsible for growing and enhacing the group’s services to both customers and the existing franchise network.
The new head of network performance and franchising has more than three decades of experience in the finance industry, including nine years with the Bank of Sydney, 12 years as a Mortgage Choice franchisee, and over a decade as a senior branch manager at Westpac.
YBR’s general manager of sales & distribution, Neil Peters, said that his experience will help the group oversee the continued growth of YBR’s corporate branch and franchise recruitment initiatives and drive the group forward.
Peters said: “This is an exciting time for our organisation. Danny’s appointment to this critical role in our distribution team reflects our commitment to growth and excellence.
“We are confident that, under his leadership, our corporate branch and franchise network will reach new heights.”
Commenting on his new position, Chronopoulos said he was “incredibly excited” to take on the role and “drive meaningful growth and innovation across [the] network”.
“My vision is to build a network that sets the standard in the industry – one where every broker feels empowered, supported, and ready to exceed their goals,” he said, noting that his focus would be on delivering the tools and support needed to excel in today’s market, creating “a collaborative culture” and fostering an environment where franchisees can “thrive”.
“I believe YBR’s strength lies in the quality and commitment of its people. My goal for recruitment is to attract brokers who share our values of integrity, customer-first focus, and excellence.
“We want to bring in individuals who are eager to contribute to our unique culture and grow alongside us as we continue to lead in network performance and client satisfaction.
“With the exciting changes at YBR, now is truly the best time for both new and seasoned brokers to join our team. Our network is positioned to offer unparalleled support, innovation, and resources that empower brokers to succeed.”
