The non-bank lender has become the latest mortgage lender to join Mortgage Choice’s panel.
Aggregator and major brokerage Mortgage Choice has added non-bank lender Brighten to its lending panel, giving its network of more than 1,000 brokers access to full doc and alt doc loans for bridging, construction, and home loan products.
Mortgage Choice brokers will also be able to offer their customers access to Brighten’s products including Elevate, an expat home loan product, and Evergreen, a home loan offering for non-residents.
The REA Group-owned business provides borrowers access to home loans from a panel of more than 35 lenders.
Speaking of the new addition, Mortgage Choice’s director of panel partner solutions Phillip Horder said the move would benefit borrowers.
“We are pleased to welcome Brighten to the Mortgage Choice lender panel. Through this partnership, our broker network will be able to provide even greater choice to even more borrowers,” Horder said.
He said that Brighten’s products offered benefits over traditional banks.
“Expat, non-residential and temporary visa-holder borrowers who receive foreign incomes, or reside overseas, which can make it harder for them to secure a home loan with a traditional lender,” he said.
“Brighten’s Elevate and Evergreen products have been designed to meet the unique needs of these borrowers making them an excellent addition to our panel.”
Brighten director of distribution Chris Meaker said: “We’re thrilled to be joining Mortgage Choice’s lender panel, and we look forward to working with their national broker network to help even more borrowers realise their property ownership dreams.”
Brighten has expanded its lending product range in recent months, having launched Brighten Land in December last year, aimed at giving more flexibility to customers looking to secure land or refinance existing vacant land loans.
It has also been expanding its senior leadership team as it eyes operations and distribution growth through the broker channel.
