Last month Phoenix Mortgage Management was added to the Choice panel, which gives brokers access to mutual lenders.
Choice chief executive officer Stephen Moore said the addition of Future Financial to its lender panel highlights Choice’s commitment to ensuring a diversified product offering to its member’s clients – particularly at a time that there are concerns over a lack of competition amongst lenders.
“Borrowers are looking for choice when it comes to their home loan and that’s why they increasingly turn to their broker. We are in a market that is dominated by the big banks however many borrowers are looking for an alternative lender.
“We are selective which lenders we partner with – they have to offer a solid value proposition to our members’ clients. The range of Future Financial products, added to its focus on servicing the broker channel, will provide another real alternative for members’ clients,” he said.
Troy McLachlan, general manager of Future Financial, said the lender was proud to announce its partnership with Choice and will work actively with Choice members to offer the new product suite.
“We’ve worked hard to strengthen our broker proposition over the past few years with view to winning panel status with key aggregator groups.
“Choice has always been high on the list of aggregators that we’d like to do business with – it is one of the biggest, most respected and longest standing groups. We have a number of loan products that will be accessible to members immediately with view to enhancing the offering as the relationship develops,” he said.
