FAST chief executive officer Steve Kane said the portal was not only helping FAST members fulfil their NCCP responsible lending obligations but enabling them to build efficient, industry-leading, customer-centric businesses.
"FAST's Podium portal raises the bar in broker software systems," he said.
"Not only does it provide all of the functionalities required for modern-day broking, it offers features that arm our members with the structure and straight through processing required to excel in today's market."
At the heart of the Podium software is an enterprise-grade CRM system powered by Salesforce, around which all other software functionalities are linked.
"The CRM-centric design of the software means FAST brokers can focus first and foremost on their customers whilst easily managing all other areas of their business – such as lodgments, commissions, reporting, compliance and managing risk," Mr Kane said.
The system's end-to-end business processing solution changes the way brokers do business, according to Mr Kane, while also catering to every stage of the new responsible lending cycle.
"Best practice tools, templates and documents can be branded with members' logos at the click of a button while brokers can easily populate disclosure documents, preliminary assessments and client needs analysis documents," he said.
"Podium actually helps brokers turn NCCP requirements to their advantage by providing a positive client experience as well as an easy method of record keeping – helping them meet their regulation requirements."
According to FAST New South Wales partnership manager Paul Saba, who was involved in the development of Podium, extensive broker engagement was central to the design of the leading software system.
"We've had a team of brokers sit in on our Podium council meetings every couple of months, right throughout the development process," he said. "You can have the best software system in the world, but if it doesn't deliver what brokers need, it's no good," he said.
