One Aussie franchise has shown its compassionate side, raising more than $15,000 for the late Jim Stynes’ charity, Reach.

Speaking to The Adviser, Aussie franchisee and organiser of the event, Lachie Pitman, said the money was raised through a ‘short notice golf day’ after he discovered Mr Stynes, who was a close friend, was gravely ill in December last year.
“In two weeks we arranged 92 golfers to participate in the event which was held at the Sandhurst Golf Club home of the PGA. Numerous auction prizes were donated by celebrities such as a round of golf with Mark Skaife, hot laps with Steven Richards and golf with Hawthorn Football Club assistant coach, Adam Simpson and ex-captain Sam Mitchell,” he said.
The event, which will now be held on an annual basis, was co-organised by the Aussie franchise and Financial Coaching’s Roger Paul.
Comedian Jimeoin was not only on hand to inject some entertainment into the day, but he was also the eventual winner, after scoring 42 stabelford points.
