Aussie is looking to forge close ties with Australia's top real estate agents with the launch of a new program that is set to strengthen referrals between brokers and real estate agents.

The new program, which will see Aussie partner 2,000 real estate agents across Australia, was designed to link buyers and sellers with real estate agents.

To this end Aussie has leveraged its strategic alliance with RP Data to identify the high performing agents in each local market nationally and provide them with an introduction to potential buyers.

Aussie’s mortgage brokers will introduce qualified, pre-approved buyers to their local real estate partner.

No personal particulars, other than the client’s property requirements, are shared with the agent.

When an introduction opportunity is identified, the customer is contacted, provided with property reports and then, with permission, they are introduced to the real estate agent.

Aussie executive chairman John Symond said the program will provide a shot in the arm for real estate agencies and the residential property market, while helping client’s get a great deal in the purchase and financing of their new home or investment property.

“According to RP Data, there are more homes listed for sale in Australia than ever before in history. Our aim is to develop a database of qualified buyers who can be introduced to the right property via our local agent partner. The program is designed to provide high level service to both the property buyer and the agent,” he said.

Aussie Home Loans is in the process of contacting the top performing real estate agents in both city and regional areas over the next week to introduce the program and is expecting them to link up with their local mortgage broker to find and service property buyers and sellers.

“Our brokers are leading our clients, who now total more than 250,000, through the sometimes difficult process of accessing a great home loan and now we are extending this service to property search, in partnership with top quality agents,” Mr Symond said.
