Since announcing a corporate partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities in October 2011, Mortgage Choice staff and franchisees have helped raise more than $60,000 for the charity.

Mortgage Choice Queensland recently raised $8,000 when it brought together franchisees, lenders and local groups for a Charity Golf Day and major raffle on 19 May 2012 at the Colonial Golf Course in Robina.
Meanwhile in New South Wales, Mortgage Choice group and state office staff and New South Wales franchisees demonstrated their culinary prowess by volunteering at Ronald McDonald House at Randwick on 29 March 2012 where they prepared a Greek meal for over 100 residents.
In addition, Mortgage Choice group office staff and NSW franchisees raised approximately $4,000 through sausage sizzles, raffles and charity breakfasts.
In Victoria/Tasmania, franchise owners, the Vic/Tas state office team and sponsors raised more than $2,000 for RMHC during the inaugural ‘Mortgage Choice Motor Loans Vic/Tas Tan Challenge’ on 16 March 2012. The event involved a 3.7-kilometre walk or run around the ‘Tan Track’ in Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens. Participants were treated to a sausage sizzle on the Yarra after the event.
Mortgage Choice chief executive officer Michael Russell said that the Mortgage Choice network of franchise owners and staff were proud to show their support for the highly respected charity.
“We’re pleased to support one of the country’s most recognised non-profit organisations, Ronald McDonald House Charities and we would like to also acknowledge our event sponsors for their contributions and to help bring the industry together in support of a worthwhile charity,” Mr Russell said
“Mortgage Choice helps Australians achieve their property dreams and Ronald McDonald House provides a home away from home for seriously ill children and their families, who need tremendous support when essential treatment is being administered.”
