Mr Duffus’ most recent role was as a sales manager with Aussie.

He will be responsible for the growth of nMB’s broker numbers and lending volumes and manage the team of BDMs.

In addition, Margaret Chapman has been promoted into the role of marketing and communications manager. She joined nMB in May 2006 as state BDM for Victoria.

In her new role, Ms Chapman will be responsible for executing nMB’s marketing strategy, managing internal and external communications and events.

Speaking about the latest appointments, nMB managing director Gerald Foley said Mr Duffus brings an enormous amount of experience to his role and Ms Chapman has the in-depth knowledge of nMB to take its marketing and communications to a whole new level.

“This new structure emphasises our commitment to working closely with our existing broker business partners and also looking to attract new mortgage broker businesses to nMB as we grow the business as part of the Aussie group,” Mr Foley said.
