Union Link, a B2B conference specialist, today announced the launch of its Consumer Credit Forum 2009 – to be held in Sydney on 23-24 June.
According to Union Link, the forum will have a strong focus on the national consumer credit reform with an insightful update from the consumer credit unit within the Commonwealth Treasury.

A Union Link spokesperson said the Consumer Credit Forum will be a forward-looking event aiming to enhance the debate on consumer protection.
“This highly interactive and practical forum will give you a rare insight into the latest developments with the National Consumer Credit Protection Bill 2009, exploring how to manage credit risk, how to use EDR in resolving credit disputes, examine predatory lending practices and unfair consumer contracts,” the spokesperson said.
Expert speakers will include Geoff Miller, general manager of corporations and financial services division at Commonwealth Treasury, Russell Evans, general manager, market and product development at Veda Advantage plus Patrick Dwyer, former general counsel, home lending, GE Money.
MFAA and FBAA members will receive a 50 per cent discount off the standard registration price.
