Leading industry figures will meet next week to discuss the issue of lenders' cancelling brokers’ accreditations.

The Independent Finance Brokers Forum said the Sydney event would discuss how vulnerable this action leaves brokers.

“The recent cancellation of a broker’s accreditation by a lender, without that lender providing any reason to the broker or aggregator, has sent shock waves through the broking industry,” the forum said.

The May 30 meeting will be held at Rosehill Bowling Club at 10.30am, and will be attended by brokers, aggregators, MFAA chief executive Phil Naylor and FBAA president Peter White.

Brokers are invited to attend and should send through their questions and RSVPs to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
