Property developers are adding luxury extras to housing estates in a bid to entice buyers, The Australian Financial Review reported today.
Brisbane property researcher Michael Matusik told the paper that the days of developing estates without such luxuries as golf courses are numbered; developers are now finding such items essential for luring buyers.

According to Matusik, property can sell for an average 92 per cent extra if it’s on or close to fairways and branded projects designed by famous sports stars.
Sydney property developer Peter Brennan agreed with Matusik, stating that the reputations of such sports personalities give buyers confidence in the estates.
