iSelect launches SME loans in Valiant partnership

Comparison website iSelect launched a new business loan offering to customers on Thursday, after partnering with loan platform Valiant Finance.

Under the new partnership, which launched on Thursday (21 January), iSelect customers will be able to find a tailored business loan solution and apply online or request a callback through the website.

Support will then be provided by Valiant’s business finance specialists to help them navigate the options available to them through the platform’s 80 lender partners.

Paul Barker, director of strategic partnerships at Valiant, commented: “iSelect is a leader in the comparison space with many parallels to our own business so it’s a great fit to provide business loan options to their customers."

Likewise, Slade Sherman, chief experience officer at iSelect, said the comparison website was “thrilled to be expanding the breadth and depth of [its] comparison service by partnering with Valiant to offer business loans to small business customers.

“We know many small businesses around Australia experienced an incredibly tough year in 2020 and we hope we can help make their lives a little easier by saving them time, effort and money across a range of products relevant to SMEs,” Mr Sherman said.

“Our new business loans vertical in partnership with Valiant compliments our other SME offerings including business insurance, energy and telco.”

The partnership is the latest in a slew of Valiant partnerships, following similar partnerships made with Australia Post and Qantas.

“We offer partners like iSelect the opportunity to create an entirely new revenue stream by adding business loans to their existing products,” Mr Barker said.

Likewise, iSelect has similarly partnered with various players in the mortgage broking industry, including AFG and Lendi.
