QBE LMI has bolstered its team with the appointment of a new senior partnership manager.

Ian Townend will step into the new role armed with more than 25 years of management experience, including eight years in the financial services industry.
Mr Townend will be required to work with banks, credit unions and building societies in Queensland to develop and deliver innovative solutions that help them securely grow their businesses.
“I am excited about my new role and to be joining a vibrant and innovative company with over 45 years experience in the domestic market,” Mr Townend said.
“QBE LMI has a strong reputation for service and innovation, with the ability to identify, develop and roll out flexible products and services, adapting and evolving with clients’ developing needs. I am looking forward to being a part of this.”
Prior to this appointment, Mr Townend worked as an associate director for a firm of management consultants focusing on building partnerships, and as an intermediaries segment manager for Suncorp, focusing on business banking customers.
