A joint initiative of RFi and The Adviser, the Australian Mortgage Conference will be held in Sydney on Friday 15 February 2013, providing invaluable sessions on issues facing borrowers, originators and distributors.
Speakers on the day include Council of Mortgage Lenders CEO Kevin Conlon and renowned demographer Bernard Salt, who will address the crucial topic of demographic evolution in Australia and how this will impact the housing market.
Also confirmed as a speaker for the 2013 event is entrepreneurial academic Professor Jack Gray who will discuss the dangers and ethics of mortgage lending.
Other major themes to be explored at the Australian Mortgage Conference include the influence of regulation on the mortgage industry and the integration of lending into the SMSF proposition.
RFi managing director Alan Shields said the conference represents a unique opportunity for mortgage lending executives and professionals to gain new insights into the transforming mortgage market.
“The Australian mortgage market remains challenging, given the uncertain economic environment, but those operators who spot opportunity ahead of the rest will be best placed to prosper,” he said.
“No other event tackles the key issues facing the industry like the Australian Mortgage Conference, making it a must-attend event for all mortgage professionals.”
