A known scammer, who has previously targeted the broking industry with false leads to be paid for up front, has allegedly resurfaced.

Mr Dorrizzi's warning came after he received new emails from Leads With A Difference. He subsequently forwarded the emails to The Adviser. They include neither a contact name nor a phone number.
Leads With A Difference offered this explanation for the lack of contact information: “Please excuse us for not putting a number on the email but we have a small team to keep the costs down for you the customer.”
Mr Dorizzi said he had asked Leads With A Difference to phone him but had only received further emails.
The Adviser also emailed Leads With A Difference and asked for a phone number to discuss the matter, or alternatively the option to comment via email, but received no reply.
The unscrupulous behaviour of Leads With A Difference was reported on by The Adviser in September 2013, with three brokers allegedly falling victim to scams at that time.
Mr Dorizzi said brokers need to be wary of lead generation companies that ask for up-front payments.
“The internet has pushed society towards accepting goods and services that need to be paid for before delivery,” he said.
“If they are a legitimate business, they will provide their service and invoice after the fact with an agreed payment time.”
