Aussie Home Loans has launched a national recruitment to add another 200 metro and regional brokers in the next year.
That would represent a 22 per cent expansion for Aussie, which ended the last financial year with 889 loan writers and mobile brokers.

It comes after Aussie told The Adviser in April that it planned to increase its network from 160 stores to 200.
Executive chairman John Symond said Aussie was aggressively expanding its team of mobile brokers and was also looking for more franchisees.
Mr Symond said new brokers receive excellent training and are supported through accredited and free mentoring programs.
Aussie won the Best Training and Education award at last month’s Australian Broking Awards.
After accepting the award, the group’s national head of mobile, Nick Notaras, said training and development is critical to Aussie.
“The role has become more complex and complicated. We have regulation, we have customer requirements and we want to make sure our customers get a great customer experience,” he said in a video interview.
