The FBAA has signed a “landmark deal” with CPD platform CPDone in a bid to make professional development more accessible to brokers.

The deal will allow FBAA members access to the platform regardless of their location and comes after the association found that many brokers are not able to attend professional development events and consequently are deprived of training and resources.

“We will continue to focus on adding value and providing solutions that meet members' needs,” FBAA chief executive officer Peter White said.

“CPDone meets those criteria because its ‘cloud-based’ offering enables members to access CPD content at any time, in any location, on virtually any device.

“The FBAA will provide recordings of their webinars and even videos of live training and make those sessions available to members via a user-friendly and mobile-friendly interface.”

Mr White noted that while members will now have a “world-class solution” that allows them to track and manage their CPD activities; it will also give brokers greater access to high-quality, ongoing professional development courses delivered via this platform.

He also noted members will no longer have to enter their CPD records manually because the system automatically records completions.

The FBAA continues to work with CPDone and plans to launch the new system to their members in the next eight to 10 weeks.
