Aussie chairman John Symond said the group is delighted to help this record number of under-privileged people in the Sydney region.
“Aussie’s staff share[s] a strong commitment to helping the needy and putting something back into the community,” he said.
“We believe that our simple contribution might help in a small way to make a difference to Christmas Day for both children and adults.”
Meanwhile, Loan Market’s New South Wales team is once again supporting Ray White’s annual Christmas campaign, ‘A little Ray of giving’, that sees offices partner with local charities to help disadvantaged children during the festive season, and has collected nearly 100 gifts in 2015.
Loan Market’s NSW director, Michael Karpathakis, said the ongoing generosity shown by the brokers was humbling.
“I’m very proud of the culture and spirit within our team,” he said.
“‘A little Ray of giving’ is a meaningful way we can give back to our communities and hopefully put some smiles on the faces of those who are doing it tough this Christmas.”
