Effective immediately, the former business development manager (BDM) at St. George Bank will be responsible for the bank’s VIC, SA, WA, and TAS BDM teams, which the bank hopes “will better align” its service offering to its partnerships model.
Head of bank intermediaries Mark Vilo welcomed the appointment, stating that Mr Vogl had done a “great job” running the SA and WA teams over the last five years.
“Paul has a proven track record of success and has built some very strong relationships in these markets,” Mr Vilo said.
“With Paul making the move to Melbourne with his young family, we know his strong focus on partnerships will continue with his newly expanded role.”
Mr Vilo added: “We now have the right mix of road and phone-based BDM support across our residential small business BDM lending teams and everything is now in place and ready to go in 2018.
“It has been a big year across the banking sector, and we know 2018 will be no different. I’m confident we have the best team in place to support our partners going forward.”
