The aggregator has announced that its national franchise recruitment and development manager has stepped down from his corporate role following his purchase of a franchise in Sydney’s east.
Mortgage Choice national franchise recruitment and development manager Tzuri Avila has announced his decision to step down from his corporate position and become the franchise owner of Mortgage Choice Eastern Suburbs.

Mr Avila has spent the last four years at Mortgage Choice as recruitment and development manager, assisting others to set up their own franchises, and has “always dreamed” of opening one of his own, according to Mortgage Choice.
Additionally, the aggregator noted that Mr Avila will bring 15 years of business management, sales and banking experience across the US and Australia with him to his new role.
“Running my own business has been a long-term personal goal,” Mr Avila said.
“I have worked closely with Mortgage Choice franchise recruits since 2016, and I am so confident in the brand and the support Mortgage Choice offers to brokers, that I am investing in it for my own future.”
Mr Avila noted that when the opportunity to purchase an existing business from another franchisee arose, he was eager to explore it.
“The camaraderie across the network is exceptional. Across the network I have found a family of like- minded business people, who are focused on customer care and always ready to support their fellow franchisees, and the head office team are absolutely dedicated to helping franchisees grow their business,” Mr Avila said.
His chosen franchise is located in Randwick, a central location to service surrounding suburbs, including Coogee, Maroubra and Bondi, according to the new owner.
“The eastern suburbs has a diverse customer base and broad selection of properties. There are also several highly respected franchisees in the area who I look forward to working with as we continue to build the Mortgage Choice brand,” Mr Avila said.
Neill Rose-Innes, Mortgage Choice general manager of distribution, thanked Mr Avila for his service to the company in franchise recruitment and welcomed him into his new role as franchise owner.
