The Adviser is urging brokers to nominate themselves or their peers for the awards and ensure they don’t miss out.
The ninth annual state-based Better Business Awards 2022 will be held in person across five states where established brokers and rising stars can celebrate their successes and network with the industry.

With the support of principal partner NAB, the awards program aims to recognise the top-performing brokers and businesses in metropolitan and regional Australia as well as bank and non-bank lender BDMs, aggregator BDMs, and loan administrators who have supported brokers through what has been a challenging couple of years.
It is also an opportunity to shine a spotlight on individual residential and finance brokers who have carved their presence in their local area through sheer hard work, dedication, and by providing superior customer service in Victoria/Tasmania, NSW/ACT, Western Australia, South Australia/Northern Territory, and Queensland.
The awards are for brokers who have not only written considerable loan volumes, but steered the sector through thought leadership, participated in community engagement programs, and provided mentorship to their peers.
The industry can nominate themselves or their peers across 21 individual and group categories this year, including Best Residential Broker, Best Finance Broker, and Best Branded Office, while one broker in each state will be crowned Broker of the Year.
The awards are open to all businesses in Australia that have supported the broking sector.
The Adviser is excited to host the awards with a three-course seated dinner in the following locations:
- Brisbane, 28 April 2022 at Sofitel Brisbane Central
- Adelaide, 5 May 2022 at the Adelaide Convention Centre
- Sydney, 12 May 2022 at the International Convention Centre
- Perth, 19 May 2022 at Crown Towers
- Melbourne, 2 June 2022 at Crown Towers
