A panel debate including key industry figures and stakeholders will take centre stage at this year’s MFAA convention, the industry association has revealed.

This year’s MFAA convention takes place at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre on 3 -5 June 2009. Hundreds of delegates have already confirmed their attendance and a large turnout is expected.

PLAN Australia’s Ray Hair, FAST’s Steve Kane, Mark Lewis from Bernie Lewis Home loans as well as Aussie’s John Symond will debate questions including fee-for-service, education standards, the anatomy of the ‘professional’ broker as well as the overall future of the  industry.

According to Phil Naylor, MFAA CEO, with so many changes having taken place over the last 12 months who better than a panel of key broker group leaders to discuss and debate the key issues impacting brokers.

As well as the panel debate, delegates can gain valuable knowledge through the convention’s ‘Stream Program’ that can be implemented to any business to help increase its bottom line.

“We’ve worked hard to bring together leading experts and other leaders to ensure delegates gain knowledge and insights from this year’s events. Through gaining insights and perspectives into the current market delegates will be better positioned to capitalise on opportunities as they arise,” Naylor said.
