RAMS Home Loans today appointed a new head of broker who will lead the lender’s third-party broker distribution channel and manage the relationship with its aggregator partners.
Tony MacRae comes to the position with a strong background in retail financial services and the mortgage industry. He has previously held senior roles in PMI Mortgage Insurance, Virgin Money and AXA/Ipac.
According to RAMS chief executive Melos Sulicich, Mr MacRae joined the non-bank lender back in May 2008 as the IT division’s head of operations.
“Tony has been instrumental in successfully leading significant changes across the operations business, in particular the move to paperless loan application processing and the introduction of electronic lodgment processing,” Mr Sulicich said.
