Over 700 member brokers have downloaded AFG’s Flex iPad app since its launch three months ago.
Flex is AFG’s fully-integrated CRM platform. The iPad app is designed to work interactively during client meetings, intuitively enabling the capture of information within the flow of conversation, delivering a faster and more satisfying experience for both clients and brokers.

Unlike some apps, which only provide access to an existing portal using a mobile device, AFG’s Flex iPad app is designed around the native functionality of an iPad.
Jaime Vogel, chief technology officer at AFG, said brokers need to embrace technology and the shift online.
“The days when clients would tolerate several meetings and the processing of a whole lot of paperwork are quickly passing,” he said.
“Brokers need the tools to transact in a way that clients see a demonstrable advantage over trying to do things themselves online. Our Flex iPad app, part of our New Way of Working suite of tools, does just that,” he said.
The app includes features that allow the iPad camera to be used to photograph supporting documentation and signatures can be captured on screen.
